Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
Would be a good footballing story if Eriksen signed again for Brentford .... if he didnt sign for us of course.
Man U supposedly determined to sign DeJong. If they have him and Bruno Fernandes I'm not sure where Eriksen plays.

I was thinking exactly the same, was very worried about him pulling through to start with, and then marvelled at him trying to play again, right through to seeing him back at his best thanks to his old friend and the board at brentford,

No doubt we will be disappointed, but I would be delighted to see him re-sign for Brentford.

Sullicunt will surely chuck in a cheeky 500k bid for Chrissy Bumaldo now wont he?

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
Be fair - Eriksen is choosing between a club that he may feel he has a debt of honour to - I would - and a shedload of cash.

If he chooses Brentford over ManU, that doesn't actually reflect badly on ManU.

On the other hand, if he chooses someone else's slightly smaller shedload of cash, over ManU's...

With his high wages and massive ego he’d be a disruption to any dressing room..

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
He was after the captain’s arm band and managers job didn’t get any so spat his dummy out and wants to leave, good player but to far up his own arse.

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
Can’t blame him….

ManU is a shambles…new manager is a lightweight…no CL…Rain & Miserable weather…fickle fans…

bigger clubs will still want him…

He’ll still deliver goal if played pRoperly

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
He has said he wants to play til he is 40 ...he looks physically capable of that ... and understand he doesnt think Man U will win the league (no shit Sherlock) & wants to play Champions league.
Saw something that suggested Chelsea, Napoli or PSG
Can imagine PSG trying to put MBappe, Neymar, Messi & Ronaldo in the same team. That = French league & no chance of the Champions league again

Just an indication of the TURMOIL at Man U
They have a lot of players they need to shift and Eric 10-Hag seems to be putting all his eggs in the basket of signing Frenkie De Jong from Barca. Barca know that and are playing them

No wonder Ronald’s wants out, even Ericsson cannot decide between Brentford and Man U,

Anon - MLS clubs don't pay top dollar.

As I said in my earlier post the CL seems to be all important for him, so would be surprised if he ends up at a non CL club.

“MLS seems the obvious choice”

No it doesn’t.

He could have his pick of any top European club, providing he lowered his wage demands."

I think it is very likely. He will want to play and which club in Europe can both afford his wages and to give him a guaranteed starting 11 spot? He will end up in Miami or LA

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
Not fussed at all where he ends up but it would be great if he went to Bayern Munich and won the league there.

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
Totally agree with the calling the shots bit. He wants to tell a manager where to play him, who the other 10 will be and what tactics they will be adopting. Wherever he goes it will be utterly dysfunctional.

Man U might actually have improved this summer by getting rid of him and Pogba. Two big cancers in the dressing room.

Willtell. I’m only giving you the 3 clubs that can afford him. (At the wage he thinks he’s still worth.)

It’s about the money. And somewhere he gets to call the shoot’s."

So you know that he's going to Newcastle then is he RBshorty?

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
If it’s about winning Champions League’s whilst also still making huge money then Real Madrid would be the obvious pick.

Although he might think a “dream scenario” where he and Messi finally play together and help PSG win their first Champions League.

The only other 2 options that might appeal to him would be moving to America to play in the MLS or if he was willing to take less money to return to Sporting Lisbon and finish at the place he started.

PSG. (The internet would explode with FFP warriors injustices.)
Man City. (Same as above. Plus he wouldn’t get to call the shots. Can’t see that with that ego.)

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo
He wasted a season by going there and at 37 he hasn’t got many more seasons to waste.

He should be challenging for honours. He should’ve gone to Man City last season really.
